Essay

This dissertation is devoted to development and study of the molars decay treatment efficiency by the clinico-laboratory base of the usage of different types of filling materials (composites and compomers) for young people. The three-dimensional mechanical-mathematical model was built to study the tensely-deformed state of the tooth crown. It has been proven that quality of bearing strength of a tooth crown is determined by localization of a carious cavity, enamel and dentine mechanical parameters and elastic properties of a filling material. The comparative clinical analysis of the usage of compomer and composite materials was performed for filling ІІ class caries cavities, taking into account patients age, state of oral cavity hygiene, caries intencity, the use of classical or tunnel methods of cavity preparation. Modern recommendations for filling of ІІ class caries cavities are worked out, that allowes to increase treatment efficiency and reduce the amount of complications.
