Essay

Object: myopia, myopic astigmatism. Purpose: the optimization of new methods complication's prophylaxis after excimer laser correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism by studying features of lacrimal chemical composition. Methods: ophthalmologic, biochemical, statistical; Schwind Keratome MultiScan. Refined and added scientific data on the biochemical composition of tears in patients with myopia and myopic astigmatism. Expanded scientific concepts about the complications after ELC, indicated that one of the mechanisms their appearance was the presence or development of eye tissue hypoxia, stress and also local stress. Supplemented data on the acid-alkaline balance of the lacrimal biochemical composition. Improved ELC method was proposed and implemented in practice, where there was used worked out contact lens and the additional use of eye drops "Sisteyn". New methods of subepithelial opacity prevention were worked out and adopted into practice after ELC ith bakplan and mexidol applications. The results of the work are adopted in 6 leading ophthalmic hospitals of Ukraine, the main provisions of the work are included in lecture's program and practical work of ophthalmology chairs in 3 Medical Universities of Ukraine.
