Essay

Thesis is devoted to studying the dynamics of phytomass components for bioproductivity of main forest forming species of Shatsk NNP. The analysis of dynamics of main mensurational indices of stands of main forest forming tree species of Shatsk NNP is done. Experimentally investigated and aggregated parameters of basic components of aboveground phytomass of forest stands and parameters of qualitative assessment of components of phytomass of stands of main forest forming tree species of Shatsk NNP. Adapted and implemented methodology for calculating bioproductivity of stands of main forest forming tree species of Shatsk NPP by components of phytomass and deposited carbon was to find out their multifactorial dependencies on mensurational characteristics of plantations, which are specified in the State forest inventory data. As the dependent variable in modeling the dynamics of phytomass of stands conversion factors (Rv) was used (ratio of the mass of fraction of phytomass (Mfr) to volume of trunk over bark (M)). As a result, regression analysis showed that dynamics of Rv coefficients most significantly depend on age and site index class of forest stands. For practical use in forest monitoring system for assessment of phytomass of stands of main forest forming species of Shatsk NNP the following is recommended: average basic and natural density of wood, bark and wood over bark of trunks and branches of crown, percentage of foliage in tree greenery and content of dry matter in fresh leaves of trees of birch and alder; mathematical models of dynamics and reference tables of amounts of main components of phytomass of stands of main forest forming tree species of Shatsk NNP (absolutely dry state), ratio of aboveground phytomass of stands to their growing stock; table of carbon content in aboveground phytomass of stands of main forest forming species of Shatsk NNP.
