Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of composition and technology of energy-rich emulsive systems production on the base of ammonium nitrate. The conditions of realization of autocatalytic process of thermolysis of ammonium nitrate in the open systems with participation of nitrogen(IV) oxide have been thermodynamically grounded and kinetically confirmed, and provide probability of explosive decomposition of the heterogeneous systems on the base of ammonium nitrate. The features of influencing of nitrates, metal chlorides, inorganic bases and carbamide influence on NH4NO3 thermodestruction have been found. It was shown that compounds which fix nitrogen(IV) oxide by the reaction of neutralization or redox process increase thermal stability of ammonium nitrate. The influence of inorganic nitrates, nature of hydrocarbon phase, concentration of emulsifier on stability, dispersion and energy richness of inverse emulsions have been determined. This allowed to develop the composition of the emulsive systems on the base of ammonium nitrate and technology of their production. The methods of sensitization of energy-rich emulsive systems on the base of ammonium nitrate and technology of high-performance and safe explosive materials production directly in mining holes were developed.
