Selivanova O. Clinical and experimental ground of the correction of thiolic compounds level in conjunctiva tissue and lachrymal liquid in medical treatment of conjunctivitis

The dissertation is dedicated to the problem of improving the bacterial conjunctivitis treatment among patients. The role of thiolic compounds in the pathogenesis of the given pathology is clarified. The reduction of the reduced glutathione level and increasing the oxidized glutathione level in the lachrymal liquid and blood are established in the dynamics of the development of inflammation in conjunctiva during the experiment and the clinic. It is formed the basis for development of diagnostic complex at each stage of chronic bacterial conjunctivitis. The complex treatment aimed at correcting the thiolic system of the conjunctiva. Changes in inflammatory signs under the influence of "Phakovit" are showed. The application of the developed integrated treatment reduces the period of symptoms of inflammatory reaction in 1,2 times, reduces the disability period in 1,3 times, reduces recurrences of bacterial conjunctivitis in 3 times.
