Trepak V. Detection and investigation of judicial bribery and overcoming of counteraction by means of operational-investigative activity.

Theoretical and practical aspects of investigation of judicial bribery and measures of counteraction to it by means of operational-investigative activity are considered in this thesis. Dissertation deals with the essence and genesis of bribery in Ukraine, the system of combating corruption and bribery; the elements of criminalistical characteristics of judicial bribery are analyzed; typical investigative situations on initial stage of investigation are researched; proposals concerning the tactics of holding operational-investigative measures in this category of crime are suggested; the tactics of holding particular investigative actions during the procedure of inquiry in cases concerned judicial bribery are considered. Procedural and forensic aspects of combating counteraction to investigation of judicial bribery have been considered in the dissertation. The author has examined the current state and prospects of use of operational-investigative measures in order to combat counteraction to investigation of judicial bribery. Propositions in order to improve forensic recommendations concerning the problem of judicial bribery investigation have been formulated in this thesis.
