Ievropina I. Forensic support in counteracting computer-related crime.

The thesis is a research, on the monographic level, of a number of issues regarding the forensic support in counteracting crime related to computers, systems and computer networks, and telecommunication networks. In the paper, the essence and content of the 'forensic support in counteracting computer-related crime' category is revealed. The issue of forensic investigation methods for said crimes, as well as such vital elements for their construction as the criminal legal and forensic characteristics, is researched. The peculiar features of preparation and performance of individual investigating actions at the different stages of pre-trial investigation, the methods and tactics for the formation and activities of investigation and operational groups, the notion of special knowledge, legal basis, the scope and range of their application, etc. are considered. The results of the study are the proposals aimed at the improvement of forensic support in counteracting the computer and computer technology assisted crime, and of the legal provisions for such activities.
