Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of an actual issue within internal medicine – research of age characteristics of lesions of the cardiovascular system in patients with nonviral liver cirrhosis and improving the treatment of such patients by use of Quercetin, Vita-melatonin and their combination. It has been determined that with age in patients with liver cirrhosis the structural and functional parameters of cardiovascular system are decreased together with the heart rate variability. It has been investigated, that in dynamics of complex treatment of patients with liver cirrhosis the best results were achieved in patients taking Quercetin along with Vita-melatonin.
