Badalov R. Prevention from prosthetic stomatitis among diabetic patients using acrylic denture (clinical and experimental argumentation)

The Thesis is dedicated to improvement of the orthopedic treatment quality of patients with diabetes of 2nd type with deficiency of dentitions with large extension and toothless jaws by determination the stomatological state of the mentioned group of patients and improvement of plastic denture using preventive course of Echinacea Compositum S medication and applying 1% Klotrimazol cream on prosthetic beds for prosthetic stomatitis prevention. Experimental researches proved that the function of salivary glands decreased under the influence of denture bases among patients with diabetes of 2nd type; meanwhile, the correspondent reaction and the mucous coat traumatized by denture base have revealed hyperergic nature. However, treatment with preventive course of Echinacea Compositum S combined with applications of the 1% Klotrimazol cream on prosthetic beds, and improvement of partial plastic dentures leveled the aforesaid side effects to the physiological stage.
