Work is devoted improvement of methods of an estimation of efficiency of operational tests of diesel locomotives in the conditions of locomotive depot. The analysis of existing methods of an estimation of reliability and fuel profitability of diesel locomotives is resulted. The conclusion is drawn on necessity to consider for an estimation of efficiency of an expense for diesel fuel, oil and repairs.
