Essay

Object of research: formation processes of effective wall wares' structure with improved physical mathematic properties on the base of raw mixtures of clay or coal waste with the use of sewage sediments. Aim of research: receiving the effective wall wares on the base of clay or coal waste with increased indices of physical mathematic properties by means of lowering the burning temperature and their modification by sewage sediments. Methods of research: for determination the composition of input material and new formations there were used standard research methods and also X-ray phase, differential thermal, electric microscopic and calorimetric methods, which were fulfilled with the help of DRON-4, derivatohrafa of A. Edrei, F. Paulik and N. Paulik, electric microscope "Dgeol-25JS" and calorimetric installation В-58-МА. Theoretical and practical results: it was found out that lowering the burning temperature till 100-150о С during producing of wall wares is reached by means of adding sewage sediments into raw mixture of clay or coal waste, which should contain surface active substance and volatile compounds of metals. For the first time there were determined peculiarities of formation ceramic crock of ware by means of lower temperature, which were concluded in joining into the pieces of clay monolith mainly by crystal silicates of sodium and a small amount of glass phase, which are formed out of local eutectic melt under lower temperature. Adding the sewage sediments into raw mixtures lowers formation humidity of air brick to 10-12%, increases speed of moisture return to 30-40% and intensifies the process of drying without appearing of considerable tension and cracks, which is explained by activity of surface active substances in sewage sediments. It is theoretically explained and experimentally proved the possibility of increasing the indices of physical and mathematic properties of ceramic brick 125-127 by means of their modification by sewage sediments. During burning the ceramic brick with sewage sediments it was considerably lowered the amount of water-soluble (eluating) compounds of heavy metals by means of catinating them into insoluble compounds during sintering and glass making in ceramic crock. Degree of applying: the results of research were used during production of experimental industrial lot of ceramic brick at "21 Brick Plant Ltd.", "Investment group "Neptun Ltd." Lugansk. Sphere of applying: building sector.
