Essay

The object of the research - reception of polymeric composites with silver on the basis of widely known amine-containing monomers and polymers and organic and inorganic salts of silver. The aims of the thesis investigation are as follows: the reception of systems with silver and a correlation establishment between structure of initial components and structure of final materials. The main results of this work were obtained by means of method infrared spectroscopy, of method of the chemical analysis, by the method of thermogravimetric of analysis, differential scanning calorymetric, X-ray powder diffraction the structure and properties receiving polymers are investigated; by the method scanning electronic microscopy appreciates the forms and sizes of particles of silver at the composite. The mechanical characteristics of copolymers without filler and filled by silver are investigated; electric properties polymers and silver fille are investigated. Fundamental results in the area of sizes and shapes of silver particles, structure and properties of silver based high-performance polymer composites depending on a nature of silver salts (organic/inorganic), reductants (low molecular saturated or aromatic ones, or amine-containing polymers) and other functionality of the precursors were obtained. For the first time the polymer micro- and nanocomposites were prepared from silver particles dispersed in reactive amine-containing unsaturated monomers and oligomers by in-situ technique and novel chemical approach for the synthesis of silver micro- and nanoparticles distributed in polyurethane and poly(urethane-acrylate) matrices by simultaneous adsorption of silver ions from aqueous medium and reducing by amine-containing polymer. Prepared silver particles of micrometer-sized and elongated shapes could be applied as a filler for conducting adhesives, sealing compositions, and other electronic applications, photonics. Obtained silver-containing polymer nanocomposites are prospective materials for medical, sensor and optical applications, electromagnetic absorbents.
