Object of research - immunoprophylaxis of tuberculosis; the purpose - improving primary prevention of tuberculosis in children by assessing the immunogenicity of BCG vaccine strain Russia-1 and SSI, Denmark with the vaccinate scars and character of sensitivity to tuberculin; methods - clinical, skin Mantoux test, statistical; the novelty - rationale for making the initial vaccination against tuberculosis with BCG vaccine strain SSI, Denmark, which provides for the formation of scars in 91.0% of children and high levels of postvaccinal allergy in 84.6% of children compared with the BCG vaccine strain Russia-1;established low tuberculin sensitivity at follow-up of children who were vaccinated with BCG vaccine strain Russia-1 and high tuberculin sensitivity after vaccination Vaccine SSI Denmark - accordingly number of positive reactions was 73,1% and 84,6%. It is necessity of changing the scheme of revaccination with its cancellation at age 14 because due to its low efficiency for the formation of postvaccinal allergy. Firstly studied the level of infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis children for 14 years of follow-up period, which had been vaccinated at birth and re-vaccinated at age 7 BCG-Russia 1. It was established that 75% of the children during this period of observation is infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Range of application - medicine.
