Essay

Object is electromagnetc fields scattered by objects when irradiated by noise signals. Aim is the formation of coherent images and interferograms using ground-based noise SAR, reception and processing of scattered noise signals. Methods of the research: short range and noise radar, SAR imaging formation, statistical radiophysics and anthenna theory. Theoretical and experimental investigation of ground-based noise SAR in Ka-band and X-band has been carried out for the first time. Possibility of shift measurements with error of 0.03 mm using a Ka-band noise SAR is proven theoretically and experimentally. Applications: theoretical and applied radiophysics, radars.
