Essay

The object is polymer composite protective compounds and coatings based on epoxy and coal tar and fillers, metal construction with protective coatings; the purpose is increase of electro-corrosion resistance, adhesion and durability of epoxy-coal protective coatings of steel constructions by improving of their quality and tightness; methods - in the thesis beyond the standard methods of research of properties of protective compounds and coatings used the special and unique methods; novelty – it is set, that the protective properties, adhesion and durability of epoxy-coal coatings of steel surfaces reduce by the presence of water and light fraction in the coal tar, which form a direct emulsion, the emulsion drops undergo to a coalescence, polarize and form a normal to the surface capillaries filled with a light fraction and stretching due to a surface tension to the value of the craters, light fraction and the water evaporating leave through-craters which cause the reduction of the protective properties and durability, the size of craters due to the balance between the forces of surface tension and lateral electrosurface repulsion and is about 0.14 mm; -It is set that the presence of electric potential  on the steel surface for application of epoxy-coal composition causes the reduction of the wetting angle due to electro-capillary effect and reduces the stretch of craters and their size, not eliminate them completely; - It is set that the insertion in a coal tar of synthetic NaX zeolite of 7 -10% by weight eliminates cratering in epoxy-coal surface, providing greater adhesion to the steel by 67% and protective properties in the form of acquisition of long-term (more than 200 h) resistance ability to the electrical effects, synthetic zeolite NaX by it channels of 0.9 nm, absorbs the molecules of light fraction substances of benzene, toluene, xylene, 0.6, 0.67, 0.71 nm, respectively, and water, preventing the formation of emulsions and craters, the results - developed and implemented a modified zeolite-epoxy-coal composition of ZS-3MZ for a protective coatings of metal surfaces;  - Developed the part in the regulations; sphere of application – the metal and concrete constructions of railway transport.
