The object: theoretical works of postcolonial researches(F. Fanon, A. Cesaire, E. Said, G. Ch. Spivak, H. Bhabha), and also novels of J. Rhys "Wide Sargasso Sea"; Ch. Achebe "Things Fall Apart"; V. Naipaul "Half a Life" and "Magic Seeds". The aim: to study the variants of the artistic models of the world in the postcolonial discourse and to investigate the narrative strategies of their representation. Practical importance : its results are used for the development of theoretical and practical courses on history of foreign literature, theory of literature and also special courses on English literature. The methods: comparative-historical, comparative-typological.
