Shkvarchuk S. J.W. Goethe's eptonyms: system-functional and lingvocultural aspects

The author's worldview has been built and its main conceptual dominants have been determined on the basis of the analysis of the writer's quotations. The formalized inventory of the author's eptonyms has been carried out using the data obtained from lexicographic sources and psycholinguistic experiment conducted among native speakers. The factors that contributed to the penetration of the author's eptonyms into German phraseology have been found out. The research outlines the peculiarities of eptonyms in speech realization and their functional and pragmatic features. The eptonimity characteristics of the investigated winged words have been found out by conducting a survey among native speakers.
