Thesis is devoted to theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the administrative-legal regulation of functioning of local organs of executive power are considered in dissertation research. The legal and organizational problems of activity of public power are determined at local level and the optimal ways of their solution are offered. There are found out the conceptual approaches to providing of the effective system of activity of local organs of executive power in modern terms.
