Essay

The thesis is concerned with ensuring the turning stability of skid-steer loaders during turning. Loaders produced by world-leading manufacturers that are on the books of Ukrainian enterprises have been analyzed. The highest anti-turn moment of ski-steer loaders has been determined. The dynamic stability of skid-steer loaders during turning has been evaluated. Methods to determine the turning stability of wheel loaders with on-board turning-control system have been developed. The theoretical developments have been proved experimentally with the stability factor determined. The results obtained have been implemented at KOBALT, a Kharkiv enterprise, and at Morozov Design Bureau for developing new special-purpose vehicles and tractors, as well as at Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University for conducting laboratory works during the educational process.
