Essay

The work is devoted to the synthesis of branched Dextran-Polyacrylamide copolymers and their anionic derivatives and to the investigation of the influence of their architecture on the internal structure and behavior of macromolecules in solution. The theoretical predictions about higher compactness of branched polymer systems in comparison with their linear analogues were confirmed. It is established that internal structure of D-PAA copolymers depends on distance between grafted PAA chains and on their conformation.
