Essay

Data of HRQL of healthy people of Donetsk region was taken with help of questionnaire. We discovered that HRQL of patients with compensated stages of chronic viral hepatitis and healthy people depends on gender and age. A histological activity, stage of disease, level of ALT influences on QL weakly. Knowledge about dangerous disease makes HRQL of patient worse. An antiviral treatment makes HRQL of the most patients with HCV better (including about half of patients without sustain viral response). The most effective treatment of chronic HCV infection, which is caused by 2-nd and 3-d genotype of HCV is combination of pegylated interferon and ribavirin: probability of SVR is 92 %. But combination of conventional interferon and ribavirin (probability of SVR is 72 %, but more cheap) is more cost-effective.
