Object - timber connectors for steel dowel; goal - to establish the impact of single and repeated loads on the job of nail connections wooden structures and improve the design procedure for such action of load; methods - theoretical studies and experimental tests of nail connections on efforts that operate along the fibers and low-cycle static loads, comparative and statistical analysis of research results; novelty - obtain new experimental data on bearing capacity and deformability of nail joints of wooden items that are under repeated loads establishes the relationship between initial deformations of nail connection and his endurance, improved method for determining the carrying capacity of nail connection depending on the initial deformation; results - developed theoretical approaches to calculating of nail connections wooden structures for actions low-cycle loadings; industry - construction.
