Object – functional abilities overdentures with bar system of fixation, ball-like attachments and their combination in the comparative aspect. Purpose – improvement of the efficiency of rehabilitation in patients with partial anodontia by means of overdentures. Methods – clinical-radiographic, instrumental, experimental investigations and photodocumentation. Novelty – application of overdentures with different means of fixation enables maintenance of a greater number of dental roots and alone-standing teeth. Results – higher efficiency of treatment in partially edentulous patients with the use of overdentures. Implemented – in dental practice and educational process. Field: dentistry.
