Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the historiography research and the role of national elite at the time of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917 - 1921. The main groups of historyographic sources of a researched problem of 1917- 2011 were founded, systematized and described. The researches' contribution in studies and government roll in political, military, scientifically, educational, cultural, spiritual and diplomatic elite of 1917 - 1921 was analyzed. A certain circle of problems was emphasized in a need of its further study, reinterpretation and scientific interpretation.
