The dissertation is devoted to the complex consideration of scientific work on the problems of the formation of national minorities in Ukraine in the periodof 1920-1930 th. The basic questions of the development of the formation of national minorities in Ukraine; the processes of employment in the environment of national minorities, thedevelopment of network of schools for national minorities, the financial position of educational establishments for ethnic groups in the period of 1920-1930th are investigated in the work. The basic historiography stages of accumulation of knowledge on the basis of analysis of present sources from history of the formation of national minorities in Ukraine in the period of 1920-1930 th are analyzed and grounded. The sources and literature from the problems of the state of the formation of national minorities in Ukraine in the period of 1920-1930th are systematized and analyzed.
