Essay

The subject of the investigation: the process of ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. The object of the investigation: the substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations and formation of practical recommendations of organizational and economic competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. Methods of the investigation: abstract-logical, matrix, analysis of hierarchies, cluster analysis, peer reviews, SWOT-analysis, economic and mathematics modeling and forecasting, method based on the theory of effective competition. Theoretical and practical results of the investigation: the proposals of improving the organizational and economic principles of competitiveness aimed at increasing its level of agricultural enterprises have been developed. Scientific novelty: for the first time methods for determining the position of enterprises in market environment and procedure of the evaluation of trustworthy environmental threats, strong and weak side of the internal environment by developing software have been proposed; methodological statements of evaluating the level of competitiveness of agricultural enterprises have been improved, methodological approaches to assessing the competitive environment of agricultural enterprises and instruments of the formation the strategy of their competitiveness. The degree of application: the results of the investigation are used in the practice of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration and Bershad district state administration in the economic activity of agricultural enterprises in the educational process of Uman State Teacher Training University named after Paul Tyczyna and Uman National University of Horticulture.
