The work is devoted to improving the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers by studying the diagnostic value and the introduction of a method of combine determining of such serological markers of the gastric mucosa as pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, gastrin-17 and IgG to the Helicobacter pylori. Has been established that the combined determination of the serum levels of the pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, gastrin-17 and IgG to Helicobacter pylori. infection is a reliable non-invasive, easy to use test that can be considered the method of choice for the diagnosis of chronic gastritis and peptic ulcers. The method has high rates of sensitivity and specificity. Has been found that levels of pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, gastrin-17 and IgG to Helicobacter pylori. infection reflect the functional status of gastric mucosa, the degree of atrophy, suitable for screening of the young patients with univestigated dyspepsia, as well as for the dynamic observation of patients after Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy.
