Shevaldina V. The role of population's savings in forming bank resources

The role of savings of population in forming bank resources is highlighted in the dissertation. Economic nature of savings in evolutional development is considered, essence of concepts "savings of population" and "savings behaviour" is found out, classification of savings is given, reasons and factors which influence the process of forming savings of population are defined. System research of process of forming population savings is carried out, income and expenditures, volume and structure of which determine savings behaviour of population, are analysed. Analytical research is conducted and the estimation of concentration level and competition positions of domestic banks as to attracting savings of population is given. Complex approach for evaluation the influence of basic factors of forming savings of population is offered on the basis of cross-correlation regressive model, that allowed to define and specify problems in forming banking resources. The structural model of bank behaviour at the market of deposit services, that will assist improvement of motivational mechanisms of attracting savings of population, is developed.
