This thesis is a research work, in which the pre-trial proceedings in Ukrainian criminal procedure are studied on monographic level. In this thesis idea of pre-trial proceedings, theirs functional purpose in Ukrainian criminal procedure are disclosed; the status of the pre-trial proceedings subjects is researched; general provisions, system of pre-trial proceedings and procedural means of activity are analyzed.
