Essay

Dissertation is devoted to actual problems рulmonology – improving the prevention and treatment for children with community-acquired pneumonia by studing the functional state of endothelium, risk factors for endothelial dysfunction and application in the treatment of drug Quercitin. The results of investigation of the endothelial function in children with community-acquired pneumonia, depending on the level of endogenous intoxication, products of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant systems are submitted. The relationship between markers of endothelial dysfunction and parameters of endogenous intoxication and free radical oxidation of lipids were analyzed. Risk factors of endothelial dysfunction were found also. We explored the influence of baseline treatment of community-acquired pneumonia in children and treatment with the inclusion of Quercitin on the dynamics of clinical parameters and markers of endothelial dysfunction, endogenous intoxication and lipid peroxidation. Significant improvement in the treatment results of community-acquired pneumonia in children with including of the drug Quercitin was found. A positive effect of such treatment for prevention of recurrent episodes of disease and respiratory disease during one year after discharge from hospital was determined also.
