The dissertation studies the preliminary case consideration by judge in a criminal production of Ukraine. On the basis of the norms of criminal procedural law, theoretical sources, archival criminal cases studied, results of a poll of judges were made several proposals to improve the conditions and procedure for making decisions on the results of the preliminary case consideration.
