Object - fatigue resistance of structural elements with stress concentrators under cyclic loading after preliminary overload; aim - development of durability calculation method for aircraft structures under programmed cyclic loading after preliminary overload; methods - method of durability calculation by the local stress-strain state (SSS), finite element method, tensometric method; results - establishing of the relationship between preliminary overload and durability of structure under programmed cyclic loading for substantiation of possibility of carrying out the static and fatigue tests on the same airframe; new approach - further development of the local SSS approach to fatigue life prediction is proposed for structures under regular and programmed cyclic loading after preliminary overload, for the first time the model of local cycles forming in the stress concentrator under programmed cyclic loading after preliminary overload is developed; field - aircraft construction.
