Essay

Thesis is devoted to complex researching of N. Polonska-Vasilenko historian of Russia life and activity. Based on analysis of scientific papers and great sources education, environment, formation and becoming a researcher were studied. A great attention was paid to Natalia's pre-revolutionary activity: participate in historical and ethnographic circle at the University of St. Vladimir, scientific and methodical work on the Kiev Higher Women's Courses and another training centers. N. Polonska-Vasilenko's labors which were written in general Russian context and which showed various aspects of Russian history were analyzed in detail .
