Kychmau K. The Christian doctrinal texts in the context of the written culture of Ukraine in XVI-XVIII centuries.

The thesis is a holistic philosophical and religion research, which thoroughly analyzed the activities of Ukrainian publishing and scientific centers in the scope of the dissemination and development of Christian written culture. The historical stages of the dissemination of printed christian scriptures are reconstructed relying on appropriate historical sources. This work conducted a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the Christian doctrinal texts in the context of written culture of Ukraine. The publishing activities of printing centers in the Eastern and Western Ukrainian lands are being characterized in this work: origin, common features, and importance for the spread of Christian written culture. On the basis of archival sources of the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine in Kyiv are being reconstructed the separate stages and ways of spreading of Christian doctrinal texts in the form of printed publications of the Ukrainian printing-houses.
