Minochkin D. Characteristics selection technique for MIMO-systems in environment with intercell interference

This thesis is dedicated to the problem of increasing the capacity of broadband wireless access systems using MIMO in selective fading environment with intercell interference by efficient selection of system characteristics depending on the channel state. Research results provide: means for numerical estimation of the impact of intercell interference and selective fading on capacity and interference immunity of broadband wireless access systems using MIMO; estimation of frequency response of multipath channel; efficient characteristics selection for radio equipment using MIMO achieving maximum capacity; recommendations for increasing capacity of radio equipment using MIMO in selective fading environment with intercell interference; design of BWA modem components for multipath channels with selective fading and intercell interference.
