Essay

In the thesis turns the national specifics of Russian Orthodoxy in terms of its social existence. Based on the analysis offered by Orthodox theologians and philosophers visions of religious and social relations, examines the practice of integration of the ROC in modern life. It is shown that the characteristics of modern Russian Orthodoxy is looping natural for him imperial model "Nation - State - Church" ("Orthodoxy - Autocracy - Nation"), which in today's Russia is positioned as a church similar to the national idea that adapts to the state and public inquiries today. The role of the ROC in shaping Russian Orthodox identity, which in the context of the political nation is reduced to promote its social doctrine as a state ideology and actually use the religious factor in the spread of church-state doctrine "Russian world".
