Svystovych R. The legal regulation of information relations in the media

Dissertation is devoted to the study of regulation and information relations in the mass media sphere, to its theoretical and methodological support, and also to the improvement the information legislation and the development of institutions of information law in the information society in Ukraine. The problem of information relationships in their organic connection with the improvement the legal regulation of information relations in the media and the formation a complex law institute - the mass media law - has been investigated. The model of legal regulation, which takes into account the static and dynamic regulatory of the information relationships in the mass media sphere and the need of respecting the principle of freedom the mass media, has been proposed. The usefulness of the study the simple process of law regulation and lawful conduct the subjects of information relations, which provides a proactive procedure of implementation the norms of information law in the form of information relations, and also the outlining the scope of the mass media sphere on both traditional and electronic media, has been justified. The concept of determining the subjects of information relations has been proposed; their subjective legal rights and responsibilities, which are caused by different entities of information relations in the mass media sphere, has been found. The suggestions of the improvement of information legislation, taking into account European legal standards in the mass media sphere, have been provided.
