Essay

The peculiarities of metabolism of sucrose and hexoses under Agrobacterium-mediated transformation in vitro and in planta of elite inbred lines of maize of native selection were investigated. It was shown that most optimal for regeneration of shoots by indirect organogenesis was modified by us nutrient medium of Linsmayer-Skoog with addition sodium thiosulfate. The negative effect of strains on the realization of morphogenetic potential, level of which depended on strain and maize genotype, was shown.
