The thesis is devoted to reduce the influence of the tyre parameters, angle of steered wheels to the friction forces work in the tire contact patch with the supporting surface, traction and speed characteristics and fuel economy. To determine the work of the friction force developed a mathematical model that considers the friction factors in contact with the tire supporting surface. Experimental studies have confirmed the adequacy of the developed model. A comparative analysis of the research results obtained by experimental and theoretical methods. Based on the results of the study developed recommendations for improving the vehicle operational properties.
