Telishevska M. Peculiarities of morpho-functional change of right ventricle during the long-term period after repair of tetralogy of Fallot

The purpose of this study is to improve the effectiveness of treatment in patients with disorders of right ventricle function in late postoperative term after repair of tetralogy of Fallot based on the study of morpho-functional change of right ventricle by elaborating the complex of ultrasonographic methods of examination and implementation of protocols of diagnostic imaging and dispensary supervision of the operated patients. The indications for timely surgery procedure in reason on severe pulmonary valve insufficiency under echocardiographic evaluation of complex parameters, allowing time to predict irreversible stage of morpho-functional change of right ventricle were substantiated. It was determined the place of corrected tetralogy of Fallot in the formation of the problem "GUCH" (Grown up Congenital Heart) that is an argument for creating of multidisciplinary programs and an important foundation for the formation of the medical infrastructure to lifetime qualified medical support of such patients when they reach adulthood.
