Oborska A. Peculiarities of growth and forecast of dynamics of biometric characteristics of modal black alder forest stands of Western Polissya

The thesis is devoted to developing of system of dynamic models for the main growth parameters and growth models of black alder in the Western Polissya of Ukraine. The forest inventory database of the informational system "Management of the forest resources? of the company "The Principles of grouping and division into homogenous structural units of the input research data were established in the dissertation. The dynamical site index scale was created taking into consideration existing types of growth of the alder stands. An analysis of dynamic of growth parameters of pure and mixed alder stands of coppice origin was performed and the corresponding growth models as well as growth rate tables were developed. A complex of models of forecasting of growth parameters of pure and mixed modal alder forest stands of coppice origin was proposed for the purpose of actualization of parameters of forest fund and for use in decision support system in forestry.
