Antonova M. Enumeration as a means of representation of conceptual information in English economic discourse.

In economic discourse enumeration is used to organize information with the purpose of reference and knowledge structuring. According to the obtained data enumerative blocks are semantically homogenous (70%) and heterogeneous (30%). Homogenous enumerative blocks function within the sphere of economics proper, while heterogeneous enumerative blocks include reference to disparate items. The analysis of both homogenous and heterogeneous enumerative blocks provided conceptual information that has lent itself to represent the accumulated knowledge of economic system in the following domains: the process domain, the institutes domain, the instruments domain and the indicators domain.
