Motashko T. Income of the population as a source of domestic government borrowing in Ukraine.

The theoretical and practical issues of the place and role of money as a source of income for domestic government borrowing in Ukraine are investigated in the dissertation. Economic nature and essence of monetary income are revealed, the notion of domestic government debt and sources of their formation are examined, and key trends in global experience to cash income as a source of domestic government debt are identified. The structure and dynamics of cash income in Ukraine are analyzed and their potential is estimated, features of functioning and patterns of development of domestic government debt market in Ukraine are revealed. Current state and trends of population participation in domestic government borrowing of Ukraine are under analysis. The thesis formulates recommendations with regard to global trends and innovations to improve the efficiency of cash income as a source of domestic government debt in Ukraine. The possibility of involvement of optimal amounts of cash income as a source of domestic government debt, taking into account the needs of the deposit market sector of financial corporations is examined. The role and policy of internal state borrowing management in the context of globalization are considered.
