Оbject - Polish travelogues of travel to the Crimea. Purpose - scientific reconstruction of the prosopographical portraits of Polish voyagers, an introduction to the scientific use of their works, and evaluation of the reliability, relevance and scientific weight of these materials. Methods - historiography, prosopography, imagology, comparative historical, retrospective, typological, systematic and historical and biographical. For the first time comprehensively studied in a separate enclosure as a source of historical and ethnographical knowledge of the Crimean peninsula - Polish travelogues; composed and grounded typology of Polish products on the dominant social and literary movement: the Enlightenment, Romanticism and Realism; ordered chronology of visits of Polish voyagers to the Crimea, made up the portraits prosopographical groups Polish travelers pre-Soviet age, a number of previously unknown letters and memoirs of the Polish voyagers put into scientific use. Scope - history, sources studies, the learning process.
