Essay

The object is processes of scattering and radiation of electromagnetic fields by slots cut in walls of rectangular waveguide with a layered dielectric filling. The purpose is definition of features of excitation and radiation of waves by such slot systems. Methods are the induced magnetomotive forces method, modified eigen wave method, genetic algorithm. The problem of scattering by slot systems in waveguide with a dielectric layer, when working on a slow wave, was solved. The slot system with optimal gain was synthesized. Firstly, the conditions of one-beam scanning were defined for a cophased slot system. Application field is radiophysics.
