Investigation object- biological material from the patients, initial clinical isolates of the chlamydiae, articular isolates AP1-a and АР2-fa; urogenital isolates Ku and UG-с; vascular isolates AP1-a and АР2-fa; interweaving cell cultures lines L 929, McCoy, Hep-2; 6-7 days chick embryos; small laboratory animals. Investigation purpose-to determine morphofunctional properties of chlamydiae of different origin and estimate their etiological significance for human. Investigation method- bacteriological, electron microscopy, cytomorphological, immunological, molecular-biological, histological, biochemical, mathematic-statistic. Equipment: the light, luminescence, electron microscopes, the thermostats, the laminar-box, the amplifier, biochemical analyzer, microtome, EIA - analyzer. The thesis is devoted to the solution of the contemporary scientific problem consisting in the study of the morphofunctional properties of chlamydiae strains that were isolated from different foci of the lesion and determine the correlation between biological characteristics and disease phenotype of chlamydial etiology. It was determined, that isolated strains of chlamydiae had the differences in intensity of cell inclusion development and the time of the new generation of chlamydiae with the cultivation in interweaving cell lines. It was studied the peculiarities of pathogenic potential. The strains were notable for its virulent characteristics. It was examined the ultrastructural peculiarities in the dynamics of complete development cycle and metabolic activity. The chlamydiae isolation method was elaborated. Inculcation grade: in practical bacteriological laboratories of the medical and veterinary profiles, in the science- investigation states of guard health, 5 patents, 1 methodical recommendation put into practice.
