The thesis is devoted to research on organization and improvement of methods of analysis of operating activity of machine-building enterprises. The analysis of economic and legal nature of the main operating activities and characterized its basic constituents for further research. Through comprehensive study conducted by the specifics of the machine-building enterprises formed the information base for analytical research core main operating activities. Evaluation has been made of the existing theoretical and methodological basis of analysis of main operating activities made it possible to form the corresponding method of the analytical study of specific machine-building field. Proposals to use for reviewing stockpiling activities, which will subsequently form an effective policy management system providing the basic resources for the smooth functioning of the entity. Outlined the main aspects and improved method for analysis of production and sales of machine-building enterprises, the procedure proposed evaluation of results of the machine-building based on a study of key parameters of the resulting operation. Based on research into individual firms provided industry recommendations for diagnosis of strategic opportunities of main operating activities, taking into account its impact on the building's overall development strategy. Identified the issues on the state of innovation development of machine-building enterprises and suggests measures for rational use of this potential.
