Object of research: state policy of social protection of economically active population. Purpose: ground of directions of forming and perfection of mechanisms of realization of state policy of social protection of economically active population. Methods: approach of the systems; statistical, comparative analysis; analysis and synthesis; logical-semantic; historical; system-analytical; abstractly-logical. Results: conceptual approaches to development of strategy of realization of state policy of social protection of economically active population of Ukraine are grounded. Novelty: a strategic purpose, principles, mechanisms, and also terms, stages and levels of realization of the offered strategy, is certain; directions of realization of state policy of social protection of economically active population are certain. It is inculcated in activity of central and territorial public authorities. Areas of use: public administration, local self-government, training and retraining of civil servants.
