Essay

Object: amblyopia and strabismus in patients with cerebral palsy. Purpose: optimizing the amblyopia and strabismus treatment in patients with cerebral palsy through the development and improvement of methods pleopto-orthoptic treatment, adapted to psychoneurological status of these patients. Methods: ophthalmological, neuro-physiological, psychological, investigation of hand movements; CT-1, SINR, BO-58, 2B-SCHL, OVSH-1. Refined data on the effect of hyperactivation of bioelectric activity, circulatory disorders of the brain, hypertensive syndrome, ventricular hydrocephalus and disorders of visual-neural structures in patients with cerebral palsy ways to reduce the visual acuity. Pleoptic treatment methods of the distinctive character of the visual analyzer in patients with cerebral palsy with epilepsy average visual acuity were improved on 18%. The modified methods of pleopto-orthoptic treatment were offered t: method of computer manipulator using - "mouse" and the method of attention's methods activation, which have to reduce the negative impact of motor disorders of hands and focus on the implementation of pleopto-orthoptic exercises. Optimization of pleopto-orthoptic treatment methods enhanced the visual acuity increase at different degrees of amblyopia and squint angle decrease from 53% of its total removing in 21% of patients and formation of binocular vision in 11.5% of patients. The results of the work are adopted at the Center for Protection of CI "Children's Territorial Medical Association" (Evpatoria , Crimea), СRI "Children's Hospital" (Simferopol, Crimea) and SI " The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of the AMS of Ukraine" " Sphere of application - medicine, ophthalmology.
