This thesis solves current scientific and technical challenge to reduce emissions of harmful substances in the workplace manual arc welding and reducing the incidence of professional welders.Concentration dependence of welding aerosol, manganese, carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide on the distance to the arc without the use of ventilation, the application of local and general ventilation using mathematical modeling on the basis of the studies was found. It is established that the concentration of manganese in the area of the arc is inversely proportional dependence on the performance of local ventilation. It is shown that the application of welding electrodes with rutile and rutile-coated cellulose productivity of local ventilation from 1750 to 2500 m3 per hour zone effectively capture aerosol increases from 0.30 to 0.38 m.Developed information and billing system for hygienic characteristics of welding electrodes "Hygiene welding", which allows selection of welding electrodes with the best safety characteristics, and get recommendations on the choice of remedies welders. A new model of filter-ventilation system for increased productivity jobs manual arc welding.
